This morning a combination of rain and freezing temps made the roads pretty slick in the Findlay area. Bill and I got to work ok, but some weren't so lucky...
My co-worker Ken hit some black ice on his way in and ended up in the emergency room. We just got the report that he has a broken collarbone and some injured discs, and they're going to patch him up and send him home. His pickup truck was totaled. Ironic, isn't it, that Ken's our main IT person and we're dealing with transitioning to new computers!
My boss's daughter (not the one who works here part time, the other one) was in a car accident this morning too. I'm not sure of the details in that situation, but she didn't have any serious injuries. Her car was totaled as well because the airbags went off.
It's been a busy couple of weeks around here... the fire at my mother-in-law's rental, our neighbor got hit backing out of her driveway last week, the fire across the street last night, and now this... it kinda makes me want to stay home!
