Scholarship

I just found out that I received a $1000 scholarship from the Toledo Lutheran Bowling League!

Last spring, Pastor Mark from St. Michael gave me a form for that scholarship, and he wrote me a recommendation letter for it.  I wrote the necessary essay and filled out the form and all that, and never heard anything from them.  Today I got an email from the secretary at Winebrenner informing me that they had received the $1000, and asking how I would like it dispersed.  I'm hoping they can just credit it to my account for fall's tuition and that way we can take out less loans.

I was surprised to see all that today, but it definitely made my Monday so far. :-)
