Babysitting x7

Tonight was quite an evening! Bill and I got to babysit the kids of the worship team members at church for nearly 3 hours this evening. We had 7 kids to watch... an 8-year-old, a 6-year-old, a 5-year-old, three 3-year-olds, and a 2-year-old. Oddly enough, it was two of the younger ones who were the best behaved!

We all hung out in the playroom at church, well we attempted to keep them in there anyway! The kids got awfully rowdy a number of times during the evening, and it seemed nearly impossible to calm them down. But we survived! :-)

For a short while we were able to calm them with a Veggie Tales video, and later on animal crackers and some other videos did the trick again. Even Bill enjoyed the Veggie Tales video. :-)


If nothing else, we learned that we're certain we don't want to have 7 kids!! :-)
