Today the bosses and secretary where I work went to a luncheon for small business awards in the Findlay area, and Ridge won an award - we are the 2008 Professional of the Year according to Greater Findlay, Inc. (a.k.a. the Hancock County Chamber of Commerce). We really don't know what this means for us besides a cool little trophy, but it's still an honor. Apparently we were up against an architecture firm, a dentist's office, some accountants, and a few others.
The guy who nominated us, from the financial firm we work with, told the boss to put the award in our trophy case... which is kinda funny, considering we don't have one! This is the only award Ridge has yet received. So he put it on the end table in the entry area for lack of a better place.
After they brought back the award from the luncheon, we had a brief prayer/staff meeting so we could give God the glory for blessing us with this award. Just one of the reasons why this is a great place to work. :-)
