For the most part today has been a pretty normal day at work, but naturally there are exceptions...
Ken went to the doctor today for a persistent cough he's had, and when he got back he announced that he had walking pneumonia... and the response was, "Well, sit down then!" :-)
Mike's birthday is tomorrow and Milan's birthday is Friday. The requirement here for having a birthday is that you bring in a treat for everyone, either on or near your birthday... though of course goodies are accepted any day. This morning Stan asked Mike what he's bringing in tomorrow, and Mike said donuts. Milan heard this, and said he's bringing in donuts tomorrow, since he's off on Friday. So Mike offered to go to Dietsch's (local ice cream place) for everyone today for his birthday treat, and he did! Earlier we teased him about trying to carry 12 ice cream cones back to the office, and then he said he'd lick them all when they started to drip so we scratched that idea. He brought back a few caramel cashew sundaes and a bunch of ice cream bars. I had an ice cream bar, and it was delightful!
We do actually get work done too, by the way... :-)
